Melisa Ipek
Melisa graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a law degree in 2024 and gained valuable experience at firms in London and West Sussex before joining Burley Geach in September 2024 as a paralegal in the family department.
Working closely alongside the firm’s Haslemere based family solicitors, Tamsyn Windle and Richard Middlehurst, Melisa has developed a strong foundation in family law and continues to build her knowledge and practical skills in this area.
Having confirmed her ambition to follow a career in law, in January 2026 Melisa commenced a Solicitor Apprenticeship course through the University of Law. This programme will support her in completion of the 2 levels of the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE 1 & 2) and contribute to the qualifying work experience she is required to undertake before finally qualifying.
Melisa continues to work within the family department currently, but is now spending her time at both our Haslemere and Petersfield offices. During the course of the apprenticeship she will also spend time within the conveyancing and private client departments to provide a rounded experience and broader understanding.
Outside of work Melisa enjoys keeping fit in the gym, sketching and spending time with friends.
