Well done Karen! Our newest SFE accredited solicitor

Congratulations to Karen Barlow on successfully completing Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) Older Client Care in Practice qualification, demonstrating her expertise in legal support for older and vulnerable clients, their families and carers.  Karen is our newest accredited member of SFE, joining her colleagues Katharine Vigus and Robert Tozzi.

What is Solicitors for the Elderly?

SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) set the standards for the highest quality legal advice in specialist areas, such as wills and powers of attorney. It is a national organisation of over 1,500 lawyers, such as solicitors, barristers, and chartered legal executives, who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

Its members demonstrate through assessment an excellent understanding of the specific needs and considerations required when safeguarding and protecting older clients’ interests. Members are required to maintain their expertise through continuous training and updates to their knowledge, ensuring that you receive the best possible advice at all times.

Why use an accredited SFE member?

Making plans now will have a huge impact later on, so it is important to get things right.  SFE accredited lawyers are experts in older client law and you can relax in the knowledge you are getting the best possible advice.

Using an SFE accredited lawyer you can trust that they are qualified experts with specialist skills which have been externally accredited.  They will provide you with personal, tailored advice in a language that you understand.  They will protect your interests and ensure the best possible outcomes for you.
